Dolce Wang | Any Other Way

Dolce Wang has spent her life bringing voice to the voiceless, through dissolving the boundaries between disciplines to create new forms of expression. Despite the challenges of selective mutism, Dolce found her voice through cello, guitar, and engineering. A singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer and immersive artist, she sees music as a foundation, yet part of a much larger conversation about storytelling, emotion and human connection.

A former Walt Disney Imagineer, she builds immersive experiences that blend music, technology, and storytelling for large-scale projects including Pandora – The World of Avatar, Shanghai Disneyland, and the Tokyo Olympics, with two US patents under her belt. As founder of the Vox Photo Project, she has also spent over a decade helping underserved communities around the world use the power of creativity to tell their own stories. An intersection of silence and expression, she carries that passage for others through her new album Any Other Way.

Written during a period of nomadic contemplation, Any Other Way is the culmination of conversations with people from all walks of life – a conduit for everyone still searching for their own way. Her music places expressive cello alongside textured guitars, shimmering synths and dreamlike production, creating songs that feel equally tethered to classical discipline and modern indie experimentation.
